Life Tools Box

Sometimes all we need to help us get back on track is the right tool. In the tips and tools section I’ll share with you some of the best life tools that I use in the coaching room so that you can use them for yourself at home.

Life Tools for you to use at Home

YOU app

While I was pouring over photos of gorgeous food on Jamie Oliver’s website I spotted that there was an app called YOU available. I’ve now installed it on my phone and am having great fun. The idea is that you make micro changes day by day and includes taking a photo as part of the process. There’s a community where you can share your progress as well.

Each tip comes under the heading of food, mind, move or love. Each really is a micro action to take. Simple and easy to do. For example today is about eating colourful foods and has reminded me to add some blackberries and raspberries to my breakfast. There’s lovely fresh peppers in the fridge to be added to my lunch and …well I’ve not decided about dinner yet.

Google Keep

OK so if I’m being honest this is really about how to make your to do list look pretty and you can do it on your pc, your mobile or both.
Create lists or leave notes.  You can tag each page with a different topic, change the paper colour and add images.  I find it really useful to jot down the things I need to remember when I may want to access my reminders from the mobile or the laptop.

Wheel of Life

Possibly one of the most used coaching tools in the world. There are two versions available here for downloading. The simpler version has six months worth as I recommend you use it each month to keep track of where you are at.

I use these tools with clients.  If you’d like to find out more let me know or book a Gift Introduction Session and I can talk you through how to use them to raise your awareness around the level of balance in your life.
