Learning

Where on Earth is time going? I’ve no idea, it seems that writing twice a week is a little more often than I can manage but that’s no good. I want to share more and I want to try and explain what’s going on as part of my development.

Today I’ve been looking all the things that I’m learning at the moment and there’s so much and so, so much more that I want to cover. In some ways it feels that all this learning is stopping me from making progress but when I stopped to think about it it’s simply the stage that I am at right now. It feels like a transition, a bit like I’m going into a chrysalis stage. Have you noticed that sometimes this needs to happen?

Study

This was the list that I came up with this morning but I’ve just realised I’ve missed some things, like the magazine from the Centre for Alternative Technology and the permaculture magazine that I subscribe to. That has years and years of back issues. I’ve barely looked at them. I’ve also discovered the joy of ‘how to’ videos on Instagram.

Practical

So many of these are tempting … I love the crafts, especially those using old materials and giving them new life and the ones for planting options. I’ve nearly given away all my recycled herb tins now, so it must be time to plant up some more. It’s such a small thing but I’m getting such a kick out of reusing all my old tins and filling them with lovely vibrant growing plants. The next stage has to be to grow some of my own from seed rather than buying them at the Garden Centre. Herbs work so well but maybe at this time of year I’m better off still buying them. They really do look good on the kitchen windowsill.

Chilli, basil and thyme

Each time I go to throw something in the bin now I stop to see if I can think of another use for it. At the weekend I was cutting back some of the raspberries that are taking over the garden when I remembered that I’d seen raspberry leaf tea mentioned somewhere. Into the search engine it went and I soon found out what I needed to do. Now I have a pot of dried raspberry leaves and just need to pluck up the courage to try some tea made with them! What will I learn next I wonder.

About Clare Wildman

YES! I’ve found my purpose in life and it’s to help others to change their life. At some level I’d always known that, I just didn’t know how. Guess how I found out? That’s right I went to a Life Coach and found that coaching was the answer to my own life change and that of others.
